About Shri Bankey Bihari Ji temple
Shri Bankey Bihari Mandir is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, in the holy city of Vrindavan in the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh. It is situated near Shri RadhaVallabh Temple.This temple is among the one of the famous temple of the worlda & being considered as TOP temple of INDIA in terms of Crowd Visits. Bankey Bihari Ji was originally worshipped at Nidhivana. Bankey means "bent in three places" and Bihari means "supreme enjoyer." The image of Lord Krishna stands in the Tribhanga posture. Swami Haridas ji originally worshipped this devotional image under the name of Kunj-Bihari ("Enjoyer of Lakes").
श्री बांके बिहारी जी का मंदिर एक हिन्दू मंदिर की मान्यता के अनुसार बना हुआ है. श्री बांकेबिहारी जी को स्वामी हरिदास जी ने निधिवन मंदिर में प्रकट किया था ! उसके बाद सं 1821 के करीब बांकेबिहारी जी के श्री विग्रह को आज जिस स्थान पर है लाया गया और आज भी यश एवं भाव सेवा के साथ यही विराजमान है और अपने दर्शनार्थियों को दर्शन दे रहे है. श्री बांके बिहारी जी का मंदिर India के लगभग Top 10 मंदिरों में से एक है. यहां प्रतिवर्ष लाखों-करोडो की संख्या में शृद्धालु आते है. फूल बंगले के दर्शन लगभग जून महीने से अगस्त महीने तक होते है.
